Daryl is a Director and CEO of specialist investment firm Koopman Securities, which specialises in funding innovate businesses that support the circular economy.
Daryl’s commercial interests include business development, mergers & acquisitions, consulting — particularly in business focusing on renewable energy, climate change, rehabilitation of contaminated lands, effective agricultural development, mineral and agricultural commodities & products.
He built an enterprise with $25 million annual turnover servicing growers with competitive agricultural products and alternative marketing options. He has also developed several R&D projects to cut the use of pesticides and increase production in crop rotations.
Daryl is part of a comprehensive network of farmers, agribusinesses and innovators providing leadership for Australian agriculture, climate remediation and effective use of our resources. He has established several significant joint R&D projects with universities and state agricultural departments. Internationally, he has created a global network of agents and interacts with them in developing commodity export programs.
